Introducing the new PD30R! Alpine’s latest snow guard innovation was designed to accommodate synthetic shingles that have a shorter 6” exposure. It’s ideal for shingles like Revia by F-Wave and can easily be color matched.

The PD30R adds to Alpine’s growing line of snow guards for synthetic slate and shake, and was brought to market in March of 2024. It retains Alpines riveted “fish head” design for optimum strength and no risk of unfolding. The following materials and finishes easily complement or match the PD30R to synthetic shingles.

Choosing Colors to Complement F-Wave’s Revia Slate & Shake Shingles
F-Wave’s Classic Slate
To illustrate color matching, F-Wave’s durable Classic Slate is available in black and gray. The PD30R can be ordered in 16 Pre-Painted Kynar stock colors, including Matte Black or Slate Gray. It also pairs well in Mill Finish copper or aluminum, especially when other accessories like gutters and downspouts are of the same material.
F-Wave’s Hand-Split Shake
F-Wave’s shake-look shingles are available in nature-inspired colors Castlewood Brown, Mountain Cedar and Lakeshore Gray. Depending upon the home’s trim, PD30Rs could be ordered in Colonial Red for a traditional look or a color to blend could be selected.
