Just this past week, in the SoHo area of Manhattan, a giant block of ice plummeted 21 stories from the top of a luxury condominium high-rise building, completely caving in a car on the street below. Also thankfully, no one on the street was hurt, and nothing else was damaged – in a busy, densely populated metropolitan area like this, the damage could have been much worse and more widespread.
